REQUIEM ad Pacem
Victoria Hall Geneva | 20.09.2026
At a time when war imposes itself on our present, how can we still make our desire for peace heard? Born in the heart of international Geneva, which has carried the ideal of dialogue between peoples for over a century, a new musical creation gathers its strength in a resolutely universal work: REQUIEM ad Pacem.
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the prestigious Victoria Hall will host this contemporary Requiem composed by Louis Crelier, with a libretto by Valérie Letellier. Borrowing the supplication of the liturgy, the performance features the Lyrica-Opéra and Pro Arte choirs (prepared by Pascal Mayer), alongside the Orchestre des Nations, conducted by Antoine Marguier. Narrator Michel Voïta will raise his voice to guide the audience on a journey from darkness to light, from the clash of men towards a fragile peace that must always be reclaimed. In solidarity with the global Live Peace movement, this event resonates as a powerful call for global harmony.
