Classical music with Tatiana Prokopenko (a pianist of Russian origin who fled her country and actively supports Ukraine), accompanied by the Saint-Minou Eurythmy School (dance).

Memmingen Peace Event | 26.10.2026 | 19:00 - 20:30

HAGIOS Peace Prayer

Venue:  Christuskirche Schweitzerstraße 19, 87700 Memmingen (Ost)

On the occasion of the United Nations International Day of Peace, a sung prayer for peace will take place for the second time on Saturday, September 26, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Evangelical Lutheran Christuskirche in the east of Memmingen as part of the Memmingen Week of Diversity and the "Live Peace" concert series.

The event is part of the "Live Peace" concert series, which was launched in 2025 and aims to carry the message "We want peace" around the world – from living room concerts to large live stages. The HAGIOS song recital is a sing-along project that ranges from contemplative silence to powerful, polyphonic singing. All you need is your own voice and the joy of singing together. The aim is to transform the church into a large sound space together. Easy-to-learn spiritual canons and songs from Helge Burggrabe's HAGIOS cycle will be sung. Inspired by the ancient Greek word "HAGIOS" for the "sacred", the unnameable, towards which all religions are oriented, the composer developed a treasure trove of songs that continues the old singing tradition of monasteries and communities such as Taizé in a contemporary form.

Admission is free. Donations in favor of the Christian-Muslim Salvator School in Nazareth are requested.

GENERA AZIONE FESTIVAL takes place in Brescia, Italy, from 14 to 19 September 2026.

The festival brings together generations, languages and themes through workshops, performances, talks and shared experiences.

Long Nights of Interculturality 2026 | Vienna | 21–27.09.2026

Long Nights of Interculturality 2026 takes place in Vienna, Austria, from 21 to 27 September 2026.

The programme includes panel discussions, an international art exhibition, Costumes of the World, and a short movies and documentary programme.

The festival explores belonging across borders, culture, identity and peacebuilding through art, dialogue and cultural exchange.

Welcome to Live Peace in Bern!

We invite you to join us for a meaningful evening of reflection, connection, and music.

A public peace trail is being created in several stages in the church and on the surrounding grounds of the Frieden city monastery in Bern.

The concept of "peace" is addressed and experienced in a variety of ways.

The Peace Trail is intended to provide space, create perspectives, encourage and promote discourse - a counter-proposal to increasing polarization, hardening and lack of dialogue.

In the first stage, we will open 12 stations in the church space on the theme of "Peace within me".

* The Peace Path is an open, accessible path on the grounds of the Peace Church. In the Peace Church and on the surrounding grounds, a publicly accessible peace trail will be created in several phases, addressing the theme of "peace" in a holistic and multifaceted way. With this, we aim to make a societal contribution to peace work, especially in times of increasing polarization, escalating conflicts, and wars. The peace trail is intended to provide space for personal reflection on inner and outer peace, to create perspectives, to encourage courage, and to foster dialogue.

CDRADM Inauguration | Metz | 22.09.2026 | 2:30 PM

The inauguration of the CDRADM documentation center takes place at the Cloître des Récollets in Metz on 22 September 2026 at 2:30 PM. Hosted by Artisans du Monde, the event will integrate the Live Peace project by holding a minute of silence for peace.

Peace Day SF takes place in San Francisco on 19.09.2026 from 12:00 PM 

Since 2011, the organizers have brought together music and speakers from the San Francisco peace movement for this annual event. The gathering reflects Live Peace values of dialogue, unity and shared hope.

10 Cargo Way, San Francisco, California

Event date: 18.09.2026.

Children from all over the city leave their school, march to Market square singing and drumming on little self-made instruments, carrying messages for Peace. Gathered on Market square, they sing the song written especially for this event and unroll the huge 60×30m Peace Flag of Ypres with texts written on it.

Children are ambassadors for Peace on this day.
