3rd Annual Peace Festival

From September 18th to 19th, 2026, Positive Peace Generation (PPG) will host the 3rd Annual Peace Festival at Kigezi College Butobere in Kabale, Uganda. Under the theme "Inspire. Innovate. Adopt. Impact", this vibrant, multi-day summit brings together 3,000 young people from across the western region. The festival integrates creative expression, civic education, and hands-on community engagement to transform youths into active change agents advocating for peace, climate resilience, and social justice.

Creative Performances: Music, dance, drama, and poetry addressing real youth challenges.

Workshops & Mentorship: Structured conflict resolution, leadership training, and SRHR education led by international speakers.

Hands-on Skills Training: Practical sessions on book making, liquid soap making, sanitary pad making, charcoal briquette making, and an introduction to AI.

Innovation Showcase & Video Challenge: Youth-led community projects competing for implementation support and peace-themed video competitions.

Climate Action: A massive tree planting initiative, adding to the legacy of environmental stewardship.
