World Peace Day – A Wingbeat for Peace

On 21 September 2026, the Predigerkirche in Zurich will host a special program for World Peace Day, themed "A Wingbeat for Peace" (Ein Flügelschlag für den Frieden). From 17:30 to 19:30, attendees are invited to an open gathering featuring moments of reflection by candlelight, a screening of the Rana Choir's multilingual "Bella ciao," and readings of peace texts by actress Claudia Faes, accompanied by musician Freddy Bertschinger. A collection will be held in support of Women Wage Peace and Women of the Sun. This event proudly aligns with the Live Peace initiative to spread the message: "We want peace and an end to all wars."
