24th Annual International Day of Peace Concert
Times Square, NY
For over two decades, the Good News Corporation and "Pause the World for Peace" have worked alongside UN Peace Ambassadors and other prominent luminaries to produce the annual International Day of Peace Concert live from Times Square. Kicking off the NYC Climate Week, this 24th Annual "Live Clean Energy Peace Concert" creates a global "Peace Party of Calmness and Celebration."
Spanning from September 19th to September 21st, 2026, the multi-day event honors the UN General Assembly’s call for a worldwide ceasefire and non-violence. The core of the program is a worldwide Meditative Minute of Silence for Peace at noon, led virtually by Ringo Starr and all-faith leaders. The gathering features special musical performances, spoken word, youth voices, a tribute to 9/11, and calls to climate action. In solidarity with the Live Peace movement, this historic broadcast invites everyone—locally in New York and globally online—to celebrate unity, Mother Earth, and our shared humanity.
