From 20 to 29 September 2026, the organization "Artistes pour la Paix" will host a major painting exhibition entitled "Peindre la Paix pour une Non-Violence" (Painting Peace for Non-Violence) in Niamey, Niger. Starting daily from 16:00, this 9-day event celebrates the International Day of Peace by gathering artworks inspired by the values of tolerance, social cohesion, and the rejection of all forms of violence.
Through colors and shapes, the exhibition invites the public to reflect on their own role in building a more peaceful society. Designed as a space for dialogue and civic engagement, the event turns art into a powerful tool for conflict resolution—each painting tells a story and carries a message of hope.
