Symposium for Peace (3rd Edition)

Paris | 21.09.2026

Peace is not just proclaimed; it must be built. It is built in spaces where people of different cultures agree to meet, listen to one another, and seek what unites them. Driven by this conviction, the Amicale du Rotary pour la Francophonie and several Paris Rotary Clubs invite you to the 3rd Symposium for Peace on Monday, September 21, 2026, marking the International Day of Peace.

Held at the historic Salle Cortot in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, this year's theme is "La Francophonie, Vecteur de Paix" (Francophonie as a Vector of Peace). The event will alternate between diplomatic reflection and musical grace, featuring international delegations discussing language, culture, diplomacy, and education, interspersed with performances by outstanding artists. In solidarity with the global Live Peace movement, this gathering stands as a testament to building bridges rather than walls.

Programme:

  • 21.09.2026 | Symposium for Peace: Diplomatic round tables and musical interludes focused on the Francophonie's role in anticipating conflicts and fostering mutual understanding.

  • Information and registration: amicalerotaryfrancophonie.org
