With backgrounds in Japan, Iran, Turkey, Russia, Spain, and the United Kingdom, she studied dance, piano, and opera from early childhood, and is skilled in songwriting, composition, and piano singing. Her overwhelming vocal ability, powerful yet clear and delicate voice, and positive and uplifting messages resonate with her and earn her support across generations. In 2014, she performed the Japanese theme song (end song) for the Disney film 'Frozen' and made her first appearance at the 65th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen. The cover album series has sold over 1 million copies in total. She has been active in a variety of fields including musicals, television, radio, and YouTube, and in 2026 will celebrate their 20th anniversary since debut, continuing to be loved across generations.

She is originally from Iran. She lived in a children's care facility in Iran until she was seven, and came to Japan at the age of eight. She played the lead role in the stage play 'The Respectful Prostitute,' and her starring film 'Cold Floor' won awards at various film festivals, including the Milan International Film Festival. In addition to appearing in films and stage plays, in recent years she has been active in multiple fields, such as film directing, expanding her activities as an artist. In 2024, the film 'Bouquet,' which she directed, was released. Beyond her work in the entertainment industry, she continues to support humanitarian causes both domestically and internationally, and in 2020, she received the Human Rights Activist Award in the United States.

Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1977. Journalist, CEO of 8bitNews Co., Ltd., and CEO of Watashi wo Kotoba ni Suru Kenkyujo Co., Ltd. He joined NHK in 2001 and worked on news programs, serving as a reporter for "News Watch 9," among other roles. In 2012, he launched the citizen news site "8bitNews" and left NHK in 2013. Currently, he is active in various fields, including domestic and international reporting and writing. He serves as the MC for TOKYO MX's "Hori Jun Live Junction" and appears on programs such as ABEMA's "ABEMA Prime" and Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV's "News Zigzag." In 2020, he released the documentary film "I Will Not Allow Division" (Watashi wa Bundan wo Yurusanai), which he directed, starred in, and produced himself. In February 2025, he published the book "Disasters and Hoaxes" (Saigai to Dema) through Shueisha International Shinsho.

Established in 1986, the group brings together young violinists from a wide variety of ethnic roots and cultural backgrounds. Guided by the dynamic leadership of Yukako Tarumi, they spread a message of love and world peace through the borderless language of music. They have performed twice in the United Nations General Assembly Hall, played annually at the UN Peace Bell Ceremony for over 20 years, and performed before four UN Secretaries-General. Their prestigious performances also include playing for the 42nd U.S. President Bill Clinton at the White House and for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican. In 2016, they received a commendation from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their significant contributions to friendship and goodwill between Japan and other nations. Various media outlets have praised them as "Musical Ambassadors of Peace and Goodwill." In September 2024, they also performed at the PEACE DAY event in Yoyogi Park.
