Live Peace: a citizens' peace concert initiative in collaboration with 7 Nobel Peace Prize winners
Live Peace is an association under the French law of 1901 that aims to create a global movement to inspire people from all walks of life to call for peace through music, culture and live performance.
Live Peace has already received the support of 7 Nobel Peace Prize laureates with whom we have signed a collaboration agreement: the International Peace Bureau (IPB), the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), the Tawakkol Karman Foundation, the Shirin Ebadi Foundation, IPPNW, AFSC and Mairead Maguire. Live Peace is also supported by the Mouvement de la Paix and Mayors for Peace France, which has over sixty member cities.
History shows the impact of citizens' movements on major societal advances: the abolition of slavery, the independence of India, the end of racial segregation, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the end of apartheid...
As Albert Camus wrote two days after the nuclear attack on Hiroshima: "Faced with the terrifying prospects now open to humanity, we see even more clearly that peace is the only objective worth pursuing. It is no longer a prayer, but a demand that all peoples must make of their governments: to choose definitively between hell and reason.
Live Peace is about people demanding peace through music.
Live Peace Annecy: the first two concerts will bring together 10,000 people for peace in Annecy and 1,000 people in Germany in Homburg sur Saar on 21 September 2025.

Participants must register free of charge online at www.live-peace.net
Collecting donations to organise other concerts in 2026
Live Peace would like to organise other free concerts in France in 2026. To this end, Live Peace is inviting concert participants, the general public and businesses to make donations to Live Peace, all of which will go towards organising concerts in other cities on 21 September 2026.
A commitment from everyone
On 21 September, to ensure the greatest possible impact for peace, Live Peace is inviting bars, restaurants, discotheques and towns to broadcast the concert and/or organise musical events under the Live Peace banner, so that, like the Fête de la Musique, more and more of us can come together to call for peace through music.
People are invited to share Live Peace publications with #wewantpeace and to sign the petition with a single phrase: "we want peace", so that with over 20 million signatories, it will one day become the most signed petition in the world.
Anyone or any organisation wishing to organise Live Peace events can do so free of charge by registering on the www.live-peace.com website and agreeing to abide by the Live Peace charter.
Live Peace and amateur musicians on stage
Live Peace invites everyone to send in selfie videos of cover versions of artists or their own compositions, which will be shared on the Live Peace music tik-tok page. The musician who receives the most likes on this page will be invited to come and play on stage when Live Peace opens.
